Friday night all you can eat fried chicken was SO good!!

Definitely off the beaten path. Small Town bar and local gathering place. Might be the only one. Limited menu of course. Food was not bad. Had a burger and fries. Just okay. Wife had fish. A little better. The big surprise was the BBQ chicken wings. At 35 cents each it was a good deal. We don't drink but like to try new places to eat. It's a cool little bar and probably hopping on weekends. And some kind of weekly songwriting contest. Might be fun.

the food is always great for a low price. however the service is usually terrible with waiter/waitresses that are very slow and inattentive. and make sure the double check your bill because they will double & triple charge you for the same drink. or charge you for the same drink on another persons tab.

Great food & service

We absolutely LOVE this little tavern! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is beyond words. We're here every Friday night for the BEST all-you-can-eat fried chicken and kareoke between April and the end of October (during camping season), and we really miss it during the "off" season. If we didn't live so far away, we'd definitely be here every Friday year-round. Friendly small-town tavern atmosphere that can't be beat. You seriously have to come over & check it out!!!

Our visit at St Paul tavern today was great as usual. Food was amazing we had the wings, fries and BLT. Servers and Bartender were both friendly and prompt in keeping our drinks full. Kitchen manager even came out to make sure our food was satisfactory.

We have always loved the tavern. We have ate there our hole life. Tonight was the worst food and the worst service we have ever had. We will not be back.

We had the pulled pork nachos and the pizza nachos along with hot pepper cheese balls. Absolutely delicious! My 8 year old daughter comes with my parents a lot and she is obsessed with the party melts! Always great food and excellent service!

Went on a Wednesday for all you can eat frog legs and I have to say they were great!!! Friendly and helpful staff along with a clean environment made my dining experience great! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Friday night all you can eat chicken. Very good food! Server must been new. My tea refill was sweet instead of unsweetened and we were never offered more chicken. Server needs more training!

Usually love the place but the waitress were not very attentive today. Remember we are there for service and your there to wait on us. We will be back. Definitely wnj

It was amazing. All you can eat fish night. I can only eat the first serving and leave feeling like I ate a whole whale! My only complaint is they are out of Malt vinegar every Sunday.

Comfort bar food is delish. It's small-town feel is comfortable and my kids love it too. We travel to eat there and pass up everything in Shelbyville. A little out of the way but totally worth it. Might have to move to St Paul... The owners really care too. They are in there all the time and have another fancy pants restaurant in Shelbyville. They are "all in!"

Best food ever

This was our first time in. We were looking for a place away from Indy because of COVID -19. Food was good and place was clean.

Great place, first time here and it was absolutely fabulous! Had the double cheeseburger and onion rings.

Excellent, everything, food, service, customers just a blast. If you don't have a great time at this place, you are dead. Kareokee on Friday is just awesome. Great mix of people.

Friday night all you can eat chicken dinner for 8$ can't be beat. Local bar very friendly people. Family friendly side as well as bar side. Definitely recommend you stop by this bar.

Great service good food

enjoyed the food although when I tried to substitute my so called sides of coleslaw and chips for union rings I was charged extra. and then my pulled pork sandwich was so soggy I asked for a replacement bun and was looked at like I was being a jerk for wanting to replace my soaked bun.

If you're looking for a great spot to stop on your Harley ride this is it food is awesome there are many things on their menu there is a family dining room on one side and a sports bar on the other one of my favorite spots to stop

Great pulled pork!!!

Only been once but it was enjoyable. Got the tater tot kegs (or whatever it was called) appetizer in place of a meal. Had never heard of a dish like that before. Wouldn't get it as a meal by itself again, but it would make for a good appetizer. Certainly it was bought frozen as probably a fair bit of the food is, but there was a good selection of appealing options for a bar. Wife's salad looked very average--boring iceberg. Dining room atmosphere less warm than that of the bar area. Server could've been a little more on top of refills. Would enjoy going back again if I were in the area.

Carry out order was shorted one meal. I called back and they would get me a gift card. Hope I get it today.
